Kathryn believes in supporting students to become the best they can be. She loves to support her fellow teachers, tutors, school leaders and speech pathologists to equip them to support the best outcomes for all students. With a focus of experience in a K-12 mainstream educational setting, Kathryn supports a proactive and strengths-based approach to achieve inclusive education.
Kathryn harnesses technology to support optimal classroom learning to ensure curriculum access for all students using an approach that ‘works smarter not harder’ achieving integrated and efficient whole school approaches for time-poor staff.
Embracing a Collaborative Approach
Kathryn embraces a collaborative and consultative approach to support a cohesive team around the student of both school staff and external providers. She understands how to implement whole school frameworks for literacy and numeracy that embed a Multi Tiered Structure of Supports and Response to intervention to optimise outcomes for all.
Kathryn adopts a student centred approach that supports student independence and optimises post school outcomes. Her approach is embedded in the latest science of reading and science of learning research and she understands how to embed effective adjustments and tailored differentiation for students with disabilities.
